HP flow revealed: Microsoft Chromebook killer is a clone of Chromebook

Microsoft drove out Linux as the platform of choice hopes during the netbook craze and now the creator of Windows that can do the same for the latest PC upstarts, the Chromebook.

In July, Microsoft announced its intention in this sense showing out of Hewlett-Packard, an upcoming $ 199 laptop designed to take the Chromebook. Slightly more expensive laptops around $ 249 are also due in coming months by Acer and Toshiba.

[Windows 8 has left you blue? Then check Windows red, InfoWorld's plan to Fix Microsoft OS contested. | Would you like a new PC? InfoWorld collects 12 window 7 best PC models available today. | Stay on top of key Microsoft technologies in our technology: Microsoft newsletter. ]

When Microsoft introduced HP stream, little was known about the specifics of the device. Now, thanks to a loss by the German-language site Mobile geeks, we're getting a better idea.

Geeks mobile has gotten their hands on a supposed HP service manual detailing the $ 199 version of the stream called the HP flow 14. It is not clear how geeks Mobile has taken the manual, but it seems that HP may have accidentally leaked as Liliputing find the same information like Mobile geeks on the HP Web site.

Using Google to do a site-specific search HP.com Tuesday morning discovered several ads for streaming 14 including the above page, which is no longer alive.

Detailing the flow
The alleged 14 flow seems to be a beefed up version of HP Chromebook 14, which is priced for $ 279 and debuted in late 2013.

The 14 will have the same specs, RAM and display ports as the Chromebook 14, based on the loss.

Where it starts to differ, however, is the processor. Mobile geek says that 14 Stream will be packed with a SoC quad-core AMD A4 Micro-6400T 1.6 GHz instead of an Intel Atom chip "Bay Trail". Chromebook 14 HP came with 1.4 GHz Intel Celeron 2955U. Energy consumption for the AMD chip is rated at 4.5 watts, which is at low power enough to run without a fan.

Equipped with 14-inch display resolution 1366 flow-by-768, which was the norm on laptops several years ago and is popular on Chromebook and business laptops. For RAM, you get the same 2 GB expandable not as the Chromebook 14.

Being a traditional desktop PCs, the flow will come with slightly more storage space on board, with 32 GB and 64 GB options than Chromebook 14 16 GB.

Based on the flow loss would also have a webcam 720 p, four speakers with Beats audio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an SD card reader, HDMI output, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and a battery 2960mAh. The device weighs-in approximately 3.86 pounds.

64-core Chip AppliedMicro could trigger war ARM core

A ten-year-olds to handle core counts in x 86 may have lulled the chip, but the competition has just started to collect on ARM processors.

AppliedMicro, which is making ARM processors in 64-bit, will put up to 64 cores in its next Gene-chip X 3 server, said Gaurav Singh, vice President of engineering and product development at the company, during the Hot Chips Conference in Cupertino, California.

[Keep on news headlines of the day tech with InfoWorld to today's headlines: Wrap Up newsletter.]

The nearest rival to Gene X-3 will be the chip maker Cavium Networks ThunderX. The ThunderX is a 48-core server and arm was announced in June.

The X 3 is a great upgrade from another version, the X-2 Gene, which will have up to 16 cores. Gene-X 3 will be available for producers of servers for testing next year.

Added CPU core is a mode of consumption to increase processing power. ARM processors are typically used in smartphones and tablets, AppliedMicro's goal is to put as many low-power cores as possible in a dense server so performance can be increased when the customers need.

"It is possible to increase the density of performance," said Singh.

ARM-based chips are also smaller, so you can cram more CPU cores within a dense server. X 86 server chip comparison are larger, generate more heat and must fit within the limits of a power system.

AppliedMicro's goal is to operate the X 3 with up to 64-core speeds up to 3.0 GHz servers that draw up to 160 watts of power, Singh said. The company is betting its chips for use in web hosting, cloud applications and high-performance computing.

The chip maker has started adding core as an alternative to increase the CPU clock speed, which caused the chips draw more power. 64 cores in Gene-X 3 core count plans any x 86 or ARM chip servers to date.

Intel has gone to 15 households on its x 86 server chips, Advanced Micro Devices to 16 cores on its x 86 and Opteron chips 8-core Opteron chips in its upcoming A1100 codename for Seattle, which relies on the arm.

The first multicore Power4 chip, was introduced by IBM in 2001. War between Intel and AMD core took off in 2004 and slowed at the turn of the Decade. 64-bit servers have not yet mailed arm, but has now dismissed AppliedMicro first salvo on the front of the arm.

The first 64-bit server arm will come out in a few months and "absolutely by the end of the year," said Singh.

The first server will come with the X-Gene chip 8-core, which was introduced in 2011. AppliedMicro will bring performance improvements to 2 X-Gene and Gene-X 3, while reducing the size of the chip, which will make it possible to keep adding more cores, while keeping the power draw in check, said Singh.

Singh admitted the Gene-X has taken longer than expected, but the company was putting in a lot of effort to develop the hardware and software ecosystem.

"We had to open a lot of doors to show that we were a viable alternative," said Singh. "We had to drive a lot of that ourselves, just to make sure that the debugger, OSes and all were up and running."

Intel, Nvidia and AMD Supercomputing chip with 60 core and higher of the ship, but those are considered co-processors who work alongside the main CPU.

AppliedMicro shared details of his X-2 Gene and Gene-3 X Hot Chips Conference.

Sparc Chip M7 by Oracle to supercharge calculation into memory

Oracle has given the first look at his next Sparc processor M7, promising large earnings performance for customers using the memory when calculating characteristics of its database of 12 c.

The Sparc M7 is due for release next year and will eventually be used in both high-and low-end Unix Oracle systems, including the M-series and T-series products, said John Fowler, executive vice President for business of Oracle systems.

[Keep on news headlines of the day tech with InfoWorld to today's headlines: Wrap Up newsletter.]

The chip has 32 CPU cores-by core on M6-12 and is to be manufactured on a more advanced process, 20 nanometers, allowing a faster, smaller transistors. It also relies on a new core design called S4.

The M7 will provide a performance boost to three-four times for applications across the Board, according to Fowler. But more significant for some customers, the chip has incorporated make accelerators much bigger earnings for a handful of key tasks, he said.

One of these is in memory processing, where the data is fetched from main memory instead of disk to reduce query times. Is one of the great points of Oracle's latest database 12 c-CEO Larry Ellison said it will be Crunch data to "speed the ungodly."

M7 chip designers worked with the team of Oracle database to build functions directly in Silicon to accelerate operations in memory. Fowler did not give the exact numbers, but said it will be made "whole multiples" for joint operations, means at least double or triple the performance on Sparc M6.

"Certain queries will be wildly accelerated," he said.

The chip is also hard-wired to handle "live decompression," which would let customers keep more of their data in a compressed format and not pay a performance penalty when it is sent for processing. That in turn could reduce storage costs.

Another function is embedded in Silicon reduces the latency of messages between servers, which reduces the performance overhead for the database cluster.

"If you want to band together two systems, four, eight systems, the lower the latency, the more it improves scalability, why don't you wait for the memory interface," said Fowler.

Yet another feature checks data in memory for errors resulting from a bug or exploit security software. Called "real time data integrity application", used only for debugging and other non-production uses, but the Sparc M7 runs quickly enough for use with live.

Oracle engineers has provided an overview of the chip in a presentation Tuesday to Hot Chips Conference in Cupertino, California. Is the fifth new processor by Oracle after the acquisition of Sun Microsystems four years ago. Some expected to sell off Ellison the side of Sun's hardware business, but instead focused on building expensive systems, high-performance integrating closely Oracle hardware and software.

The acceleration tweaks, including the features in memory and decompression will be "transparent" for users of Oracle database 12 c, said Fowler. However, they are not "only or private" to the Oracle database, he said.

This means that other developers can program applications to take advantage of them. Oracle expects a lot of developers to use data integrity applications, for example. Relief features in memory and data require more skill to take advantage, but a company like IBM, for example, could in theory improve its database to take advantage of these features, if you wanted to, said Fowler.

Oracle is not giving details yet of the Sparc systems M7 will go, but Fowler said the chip can scale up to 32 outlets, such as the current Sparc M6. He also said the same chip will be used in both T and M series.

Microsoft Tweaks Windows to attract the Internet of things, Community market maker

Hoping to cover all of its bases in the emerging market IoT (Internet of things), Microsoft is proffering a hand hardware hackers "creators," diyers, and other manufacturers of things that may one day end up on the Internet.

Microsoft is selling a scaled-down version of Windows on an Intel motherboard Galileo hoping to extend Windows ' further range in smart devices and appliances connected to the Internet.

[What is the "Internet of things" really? Glad you asked! InfoWorld provides a reasonable definition for IoT and will unfold maps 3 ways the Internet of things. | Cut the basics for technology development and IT management with InfoWorld daily newsletter, our summary of top tech events. ]

Software developers and hardware hackers will use the card, Microsoft hopes, build and test new devices, some of which may end up as commercial products. The Development Board will also make known the developers and engineers with the benefits of using Windows build gadgets and portable devices.

The development kit is part of the larger Microsoft plan to grab some market share in emerging, where IoT collect real-time information collection instruments data and forward it to warnings or analysis.

Microsoft has long supplied manufacturers with Windows Embedded Compact, which is used in a wide range of industrial devices, mobile devices, health monitors, ATMs and other devices. The company is making sure these manufacturers know that the embedded operating system may work for their devices IoT as well.

But Microsoft is hoping that this new development will introduce Windows to another set of potential creators of device IoT: independent developers working in their garage, the so-called community creator.

Microsoft has shown before Galileo and Microsoft software during the experimental Build Conference in April. The Council, incorporated into a piano, was running an app that might play a tune on the piano, or capture notes that someone has played the piano and convey them to the azure cloud service.

The ultimate goal of these efforts is to take the information gathered from billions of devices and power fueled by Azure cloud services. It is part of Microsoft's overall "mobile first, cloud first" strategy.

"What is so great about this Internet of things is that it is not the only thing, is the fact that you are connected to the Internet. And so this application Windows on this device is power and telemetry data back to a data service blue, said Terry Myerson, executive vice President of Microsoft operating systems group, during a keynote at the Conference Build.

Galileo's Computer, which is a fishing circuit, is aimed at a group of DIY enthusiasts who make innovative electronics. Slightly larger than a credit card, the Council was used to make devices such as handing out sweeties robot, lighting systems and health devices connected to the Tablet, smartphone and Internet.

Oracle Exadata for some compatibility

Oracle has made it possible to run a much older version, but still widely used database software on Exadata, a move that could make buyers reluctant to date the trigger on a purchase of computer equipment.

Customers who are running the infrastructure Grid version 12.1.0.2 or later can now use Oracle ACFS (Automated Storage Management Cluster File System) on Exadata, according to a blog post.

"The result is that now you can run Oracle 10gR2 on Exadata Database using ACFS as storage for Oracle Database," the post reported. The blog "Although Oracle 10gR2 Database is at end of life, remains in use in a number of places," he says. "This has caused problems when you implement Exadata consolidation platform, or when the choice during the process of upgrading hardware".

10gR2 version became generally available in July 2005 and its extended support ended in July 2013. Oracle database versions released gave 11 g & c 12 and hopes to obtain the rapid absorption of the latter, which includes optional functionality to cloud computing and processing in memory.

With regard to the execution of 10gR2 Exadata, there are some prerequisites besides Grid 12.1.0.2 infrastructure, according to the blog.

Oracle's Linux distribution is also needed, and if a customer wishes to use functionality of HCC (hybrid columnar compression) of Oracle, will need to apply a patch, possibly with the help of support.

Not all functionality of the Exadata will be available when you run 10gR2, but as network fabric capabilities of Infiniband, lower system power requirements and additional memory "justifies transferring these Exadata database now," adds the blog.

Oracle Exadata first unveiled in 2008 and has since released several new versions, as well as other so-called "engineered systems" focusing on different computer tasks.

Co-President Mark Hurd recently declared that Oracle would ship its 10,000° engineered system in the current quarter.

Now, previous generations of Intel chip E7 as Westmere EX, which cost much less than most modern, can be used in non-production of Hana, says the blog.

Secondly, while SAP has recommended 256 GB of RAM per CPU to perform analytical workloads Hana in production, this will not be forced to test and development environments, according to the blog.

SAP has also relaxed the requirements for storage and network components in non-production Hana.

The moves follow other SAP efforts to lower operating costs, such as support for virtualization Hana customers.

SAP has reoriented its entire development strategy around Hana packaged applications ported to the platform, creating a PaaS (platform as a service) with it, and throwing a hosting service based on Hana. More than 1,500 startup companies are also developing software with Hana, according to SAP.

Hana became generally available in 2011. In its latest earnings report, SAP said that Hana had crossed the 3,600 mark reviews. But he also stopped burst Hana revenue, prompting some observers to question whether it had slowed sales.

Tuesday's announcements signal that "competition has finally arrived with in-memory databases and SAP is under pressure to ensure Hana is as cost-competitive as possible," said John Appleby, global Manager of SAP Hana Consulting firm red solutions and an SAP mentor, a title given to the members of the community more involved in the company. "I am sure that this is the beginning of a series of activities during the 2014 to reduce TCO by Hana."

Want to Work Less and Make More? Discover the...

Do you want to continue working 50, 70, 100 hours a week the rest of your life?

Good! Neither do I.

Do you want to be able to take time off whenever you want to, without worrying about what's going to happen to your business?

So do I!

There's a saying in the corporate world: "Don't make yourself irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted." As an entrepreneur, this is still true in its own way. Let's think of "being promoted" as earning more and working less. You can raise your prices, but until you can remove yourself from being directly involved in doing the work that generates the income, there's always going to be a limit to how much you can earn, and it can only increase very slowly.

Passive income, on the other hand, is income that does not require your direct involvement. Some kinds of passive income you may be familiar with include owning rental property, royalties on an invention or creative work, and network marketing. If you want to earn more, work less, and have a decent retirement, you're going to have to start creating income streams that do not require your direct involvement. Whether you're just starting your business, or you've been running it a while, the sooner you start thinking about how you are going to shift your business model to create more passive income, the sooner you can achieve personal and financial freedom.

Let's look at two basic types of passive income, and a third type of income that, while technically not passive, is a key strategy for earning more and working less.

Residual Income

Residual income is revenue that occurs over time from work done one time. Some examples include:

An insurance agent who gets commission every year when a customer renews his policyA network marketing or direct sales rep's income from her direct customers when they reorder product every monthAn aerobics instructor who produces a video and sells it at the gyms where she teachesA marketing consultant who creates a workbook and sells it in e-book format on the InternetA photographer who makes his photos available through a stock photography clearinghouse and gets paid a royalty whenever someone buys one of his imagesA restaurant or retail owner who has grown to the point of hiring a trustworthy managerAs you can see, there are many different ways to generate residual income across a wide variety of businesses. It may be recurring income from the same customers, or the sales of a product to new customers. It may require no personal involvement whatsoever, such as an e-book sold on a web site, or it may require some personal interaction, such as the insurance agent calling the customer to remind them about their renewal and ask them if they want to change any of their coverage. Often, it's something that you can delegate to an assistant.

Note that this is different from merely recurring income. Recurring income may still require your involvement to earn the income, e.g., a coach or consultant on a monthly retainer, or a caterer who delivers lunch every Monday to the local school board. While this "active recurring income" offers welcome stability, it also tends to tie you down, and you still have limits on your earning capacity based on your own personal production capacity.

Leveraged Income

Leveraged income leverages the work of other people to create income for you. Some examples of leveraged income include:

An e-book author selling her e-book through affiliates who promote the productA network marketer who builds a downline and receives commissions on the sales made by people in his downlineA general contractor who makes a profit margin on the work done by sub-contractorsFranchising your business model to other entrepreneurs (the ultimate leveraged income)Again, there are many different models in many different businesses. The key is that you are making money off of other people's labor, rather than primarily your own. Note that leveraged income may or may not also be residual income. When you combine them, that's even better.

Active Leveraged Income

This is a term I use to describe income that requires your direct participation, but that you can make more money by having more people involved. This generally involves a one-time event, such as:

A seminar or classA conference or conventionConcerts and dance recitalsRaves and other partiesAlthough these require your direct participation, your earning potential is much higher than if someone were just paying you a direct hourly rate. Fill a room with 1,000 people paying $50 each and you can cover your facility cost, promotional cost, and staffing fees and still have a nice chunk of change left over.

Applying It

Now is the time to think about how to apply this in your business. Can you create a product that people will buy over and over again? Can you engage others to sell your product? How could you make money off the work of others?

The sooner you answer these questions, the sooner you'll have financial and personal freedom.

Growth Hacking Essentials: Engineer Massive...

Along with "minimum viable product," the term "growth hacking" is all the rage among tech startups. It purports to deliver to early stage startups rapid yet sustainable growth. And what's not to love about growth?

Sean Ellis, the originator of the term, recently appeared at Percolate's Transition Conference to discuss the finer points of a role that is disrupting the traditional path of marketing for startups. His ideas can be applied to a number of small businesses.

Growth hacking was developed to deal with a couple of peculiarities of venture-backed startups. Namely, that when you have a new company, you have no "brand equity" or imprint on the minds of consumers. At the same time, you have no legacy baggage, no ingrained way of doing things. You're fighting for survival and are therefore in the perfect place for experimentation and hopefully growth.

Is Growth Hacking Marketing By Another Name?

Not exactly. Ellis explains that traditional marketing has certain limitations. "It fails to teach traction," he said. "And it favors proven techniques over experimentation."

When you are a young company fighting for attention, experimentation might be your ticket to the top of the heap. Ellis describes himself as a "self-taught marketer" and has learned over the years, to focus on what he calls "units of gratification" to drive repeat visits and therefore growth. In other words, how can you make your product experience "sticky" and therefore irresistible?

He points to success stories such as Dropbox (file sharing) and Uber (alternative to taxis). Ellis worked with Dropbox to create more prompts for sharing, but he says the startup had natural advantages because sharing is baked into the product design.

So How Do You Become a Growth Hacker?

In Ellis' mind, it all comes down to being "obsessed with driving massive growth." You'll use whatever tools you can find -- whether it's email marketing, referral bonuses, or social media -- to make that growth happen.

You also must be a "tenacious tester," that is, capable of creating hypotheses, testing them and evaluating your results, and then optimizing.

Finally, you need to understand the online space and how it can be used to create word of mouth.

Sean Ellis' Tips for Accelerated Growth

Be API-friendly: "Advanced Programming Interfaces" or APIs allow different websites and platforms to "talk" to each other -- for example, Yelp uses MapQuest to give you directions to your local restaurant. Using APIs on your site means it's better integrated into a suite of services and therefore more useful to a user. Hitch Your Wagon to a Star: Many contemporary startups attains massive growth by being a part of a larger marketplace such as Facebook, Salesforce or Google Apps. A corporation has broken regardless if its full sales or earnings identical its full costs. For the breakeven level, not any benefit has become manufactured, neither possess virtually any deficits already been sustained. That computation is vital for just about any company owner, for the reason that breakeven level will be the cheaper control regarding benefit while finding out margins.

Determining Expenses

There are lots of forms of expenses to take into account while conducting some sort of breakeven examination, thus here is a refresher on the almost all relevant.

Repaired expenses: These include expenses which are exactly the same it doesn't matter how quite a few things you offer. Almost all start-up expenses, for example rent, insurance plan and also personal computers, are thought fixed expenses due to the fact you have to produce these types of outlays prior to offer your own primary product. Adjustable expenses: These include recurring expenses that you just take in using each and every system you offer. As an example, in case you have been functioning some sort of greeting card store wherever you'd to get homemade cards from the fixed corporation with regard to $1 each and every, then which greenback signifies some sort of adjustable expense. Seeing that your online business and also sales increase, you'll be ready appropriating labour along with things as adjustable expenses when it's wise for the industry.

Placing an amount

This can be critical on your breakeven examination; you cannot compute probable earnings if you do not know what the system value are going to be. Unit value is the term for the total you plan for you to demand shoppers to get one particular system of the product.

Therapy regarding Prices: Prices may contain an intricate decision-making process for the patron, and also there's a lot of research on the promoting and also psychology regarding how shoppers comprehend value. Take the time to review content articles about rates method plus the psychology regarding rates before picking out the way to value your own products or services. Prices Techniques: There are lots of different educational facilities regarding considered on how to manage value while conducting some sort of breakeven examination. It's a mixture of quantitative and also qualitative aspects. If you've made a brand new, one of a kind product, you should be able to demand a premium value, although in case you are entering some sort of cut-throat industry, you must keep your value in line with the planning fee or possibly perhaps give a discount to obtain shoppers to modify on your corporation.

Just one popular method can be "cost-based pricing", which usually calls for understanding how much you will be charged to create one system of your product and also placing the cost to the next sum and also a established benefit margin. This approach can be frowned on as it permits opposition who is going to produce the goods for just that you quickly undercut you about value. An additional procedure, called through Brian Grams. Bakken regarding Harris Interactive as "price-based costing" encourages business people for you to "start with all the value which shoppers are likely to fork out (when they've already cut-throat alternatives) and also whittle straight down expenses to satisfy which value. inches That way in case you encounter brand-new competition, you are able to reduce your value whilst still being turn a profit. You will find usually different rates strategies you can use.

The method: Don't get worried, it is very easy. To be able to carry out your own breakeven examination, acquire your own fixed expenses, split because of your value, without your own adjustable expenses. Just as one equation, this pertains to:

Breakeven Level = Repaired Costs/(Unit Selling price - Adjustable Costs)

That computation enables you to recognize how quite a few products of your product you should offer for you to crack perhaps. Once you have gotten to that time, you've got recovered many expenses related to creating your own product (both adjustable and also fixed).

Above the breakeven level, every additional system offered boosts gain the volume of the system contribution margin, which usually pertains to the total each and every system plays a part in masking fixed expenses and also growing revenue.
Just as one equation, this pertains to:

Unit Info Border = Revenue Selling price - Adjustable Expenses

Creating this information in the spreadsheet will help you quickly produce alterations as expenses adjust after some time, along with play using different value options and also quickly compute the ending breakeven level. You can use a course for example Excel's Goal Look for, in case you planned to give on your own an ambition of your specific benefit, say $1 million, and perform counter clockwise to find out the quantity of products you will need to offer to hit which amount. (This online article will show you the way to use Goal Look for. )

Calculators

There are lots of online calculators to work with you with your breakeven examination:
Situation Western Book University or college provides a breakeven examination car finance calculator that also includes examination relevant microeconomic conditions. That economic car finance calculator permits you to information your own expenses and also revenue can be found in some sort of graph. Inc. com provides a breakeven examination car finance calculator pots some sort of consumer for you to key in full 12-monthly cost and also 12-monthly year-to-date sales and also expense regarding sales, and also let us the consumer delineate the time for your YTD calculations regarding months.

Limits

It is important to realize what the effects of the breakeven examination usually are telling you. When, by way of example, the computation reviews that you just would certainly crack regardless if you offered your own 500th system, determine whether or not this appears possible. If you do not feel you are able to offer 500 products in just a reasonable period of time (dictated because of your finances, tolerance and also private expectations), then this may not be the right organization so that you can get into. If you feel 500 products may be possible although would certainly have a even though, test cutting your value and also figuring out and also studying the modern breakeven level.

Additionally, check out your own expenses - each fixed and also adjustable - and also distinguish locations wherever you could most likely produce reduces.

And finally, understand that breakeven examination just isn't some sort of predictor regarding demand, when you get into current market with all the incorrect product or a bad value, it may be tough for you to at any time strike the breakeven level.

10 Ways to Spot a True Network Marketing...

There are a few network marketing opportunities that are just scams. There are far more that may be well-intentioned, but have a poor track record, for any number of reasons. So how do you separate the wheat from the chaff? Here are ten tips to help you pick the right network marketing opportunity for you.

1. Has the company been around for at least 5 years?

If you want the efforts you put in today to pay off for many years in the future, choose a company that has proven that it will be around for the long term. 90% of all network marketing companies FAIL within their first 2 years. You don't want to invest your precious time and resources (not to mention your future) in something that may not be in business next month, do you?

2. Is the company well capitalized?

In other words, does it have the cash that it will need to grow, to maintain a solid infrastructure, to attract talented management, to keep pace with technology ? and, of course, to pay your commissions! (I prefer publicly traded companies because they're required to disclose their financial condition in DETAIL every 90 days to the SEC and other governmental agencies. You may not be able to obtain this information on a private company, so you'll be taking a risk on its financial condition.)

3. Does the company offer products or services that are unique?

That is, they're not readily available elsewhere (especially at a discount) and they're not just another "me too" product that has loads of competition.

4. Is there a genuine need for the product or service?

You've probably heard horror stories about people ending up with a garage full of expensive water filters - the reason that happens is because only other distributors will purchase the product at that price! Your product or service must fill a REAL need at a fair price - and there should be a large untapped market for it. In other words, it MUST provide tremendous value, so the customer is the biggest winner.

5. Is the product or service trendy or a fad?

You can't build long term residual income (i.e., your retirement!) if the product or service only has short term appeal (e.g., beany babies, etc.). Think long term instead. Is the product or service something that your customers will continue to use for a long time?

6. Can you generate immediate income?

So that you can finance your marketing and expansion efforts from cash flow.

7. Does the marketing system take full advantage of technology?

Not everyone is a sales type, but ANYBODY can plug into a system and tools that do the selling and sorting for you!

8. Is the person who is introducing you to the opportunity committed to YOUR success?

If they are, the company is strong, and the product or service is a winner, (and, of course, you're willing to learn) you WILL succeed. There's a big difference between a "sponsor" and a "recruiter." A sponsor coaches. motivates and trains and a recruiter just signs people up and in most cases, abandons them.

9. Is there a way to build your business part-time without losing your full time income?

The company must have automated systems that can do the heavy lifting (i.e., selling and sorting) for you so that you can use your limited time efficiently.

10. Will you have FUN?

Although this may not be an element of your current JOB, we think it's important! You should have a lot of fun with your business partners while you work together to build a long term business and your financial army.

So there you have it ? ten criteria for selecting a superior network marketing opportunity. Of course, even with a great company, there's no such thing as a free lunch. You WILL have to work! But, with the right opportunity (unlike your job), it won't have to be forever!

But, in several arenas, an individual might state on your own any leper because admit to be able to being in multilevel marketing.

Thus, what exactly is the challenge with NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS as well as multilevel marketing?

Perhaps is it doesn't pyramid construction? But you are unable to truly carry issue while using the tiered reimbursement construction? almost every big sales organization on the globe features in which. Salespeople receive fee, as well as sales supervisors receive overrides or even bonuses added to that, as well as sales directors added to that, as well as VPs added to that.

Or possibly is it doesn't fact that you have to spend to be able to attend the item? However in which can't be the item? would you normal franchising type. In addition to My partner and i assure an individual, your operation price of all standard franchises dwarf your sign-up charge of just about any NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS software in comparison.

Right now surely, you will discover against the law pyramid, or even "Ponzi", plans. This really is the spot that the dollars will be many being produced off registering other folks, with little if any true product or service previously being sent. However even though what ever awareness men and women may have, the reality is in which Amway, Shine, Meleleuca, Pre paid Authorized, USANA, and there are others get offered millions about huge amount of money of goods to be able to happy clients, the majority of to whom usually are not additionally repetitions. Thus, there may be a notion difficulty right here, nevertheless if you are, your belief is out of series while using the fact.

However certainly your undesirable popularity MLM'ers features a lot more basis in reality compared to the periodic against the law pyramid structure?

The real difficulty with NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS isn't NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS itself, nevertheless some people the item appeals to. Network marketing is just an enterprise type, plus it truly quantities to be able to "micro-franchising". The benefit will be that it features a really low charge of gain access to, while using the risk of excellent earnings, as well as you will discover individuals who achieve that.

However those same items which render it interesting help it become attractive to several that are Certainly not skilled or even ready to turn out to be companies.

Your salient features of NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS help it become attractive to people who have not accomplished properly inside their organization or even career and have absolutely little dollars ended up saving approximately make investments haven't any prior knowledge proudly owning or even running a business haven't any prior knowledge in sales get little if any knowledge building organization interactions apart from that of employer/employee/co-worker usually are not enthusiastic about their own recent a higher level profits get impracticable anticipations of the quantity of do the job involved than the earnings realized Will not get me wrong? I am just not indicating that there is everything incorrect with any of these items, or even until this describes also many network marketers? merely that it describes any excessive variety of network marketers, and this quite a few never complete everything regarding it.

Subsequently, several network marketers find yourself over-selling the ability in properly talking about organization in sociable conditions being seen because needy over-focused about completely new utilizes as well as failing present clients subsequently being possibly imprecise or even deceptive while referring to their own organization Once again, I am just certainly not indicating until this describes many network marketers, nonetheless it can illustrate sufficient of which to be able to tarnish your trustworthiness of the rest. In order to pre-judge another person centered judging by a compact fraction of people in this group will be unbelievably unjust, nevertheless we need to know that the majority of prejudices have some basis the truth is, even when it is often distorted.

Thus what's the solution?

There is certainly the initial regarding every little thing. In addition to community marketing/MLM is a good chance for people to get their own initial organization, their own initial sales role, for example. My personal point will be this kind of? recognize the item regarding precisely what it can be: it is a organization, so you really are a business owner. And when you've got never possessed an enterprise prior to, if you've never accomplished sales prior to, if you've never networked prior to, you need to discover just how to take action, not simply in the community marketing/MLM gurus, nevertheless by proven gurus in those job areas.

Home business owners that are interested in creating a organization should be examining as well as researching organization basic principles, the most recent sales as well as advertising and marketing tactics, strategies for network as well as organization advancement, for example., not simply changing tips your team's once a week or even regular assembly. Behave like a small company owner, and the ones will probably handle you want one particular.

How Does Affiliate Marketing Work?

How Does Affiliate Marketing Works

If you have ever wondered how all those sites that review and recommend various products, or those "Best such and such" sites that include product descriptions with "buy-now" links make their money, the answer is Affiliate Marketing.

There are hundreds and thousands of companies out there looking for assistance with selling their products. Buying advertising is not always financially viable, as you often have to pay in advance, or invest a large amount of money before you see the returns (if at all).

The solution many companies use is to instead offer a percentage of their sales (sometimes as high as 70%) to anybody who will promote their products for them.

Let's say I became an affiliate of "XYZ Product" which retails at $100. I might recommend it on my website, build an entire site around it, or find some other way to promote it. If anybody goes to the vendor site via my referral link (known as an affiliate link) and makes a purchase of XYZ Product, the company will pay me a predetermined percentage of that $100.

This method can be very profitable for both the affiliate and the company. The company after all is just giving up a percentage of their profits, but may have done no work whatsoever to promote it (except making a decent website on their end).

The affiliate on the other hand gets to partner up with a great product and doesn't have to worry about inventory, shipping, or any other details, they just send interested people to the product and then receive their commission. It's a win-win situation for all involved.

Affiliate links

When you join an affiliate program, you will be given a unique link that has your tracking ID in it. When somebody clicks on that link and is taken to the destination (the product purchase page), the tracking ID tells the vendor that it was your link that was clicked, and they will know to add any earned commissions to your account. This is an incredibly simple system to use and doesn't affect the customer at all.

Some affiliates might use a link shortener like goo.gl or bit.ly to either hide their affiliation, or simply make the link cleaner and shorter.

Negativity

In some circles, affiliate marketing has a negative connotation. That is because over the years there have been a lot of "badly behaved" affiliates who use spam, lies, and other misleading methods to trick people into purchasing products. They would also build up sites that were purely designed to get people to click their links, and many of the reason changes to Google search came about as a result of them being sick of affiliate sites.

This does not affect the "good" affiliate though. Real quality affiliates know that they need to provide a service, and offer top quality information in order to make a high volume of sales and make all their hard work worthwhile. To be perfectly honest, a lot of the driving force of the Internet comes from affiliate marketing, because it is one of the most lucrative and honest ways of making money online.

Affiliate marketing can be a very profitable way of earning a living if you stick to the ethos of providing quality information and services. It is not something you can walk into and make a fortune overnight with, but once the ropes are learned and you know what you are doing, fortunes can definitely be had.
